- I am a Mechanical Design Engineer with 17 years experience under my "design black belt" I began by starting a bike business (Cortina Cycles) then entering into the Semi-conductor industry working for Veeco metrology, and tegal (PVD tools), then working for Renco designing encoders for motion control. Currently I work for Northrop Grumman Areospace designing satellite deployment systems for JPL/ NASA, and EADS. I have used every single piece of software from Pro-Engineer to Solidworks. I also hold several patents (US and European) for my designs in the motion control industry. To ease my stress I either play my guitar, ride my bike or go surfing in the paradise I call home (Santa Barbara).
